MSFS 2024: Unveiling the Next Chapter in Aviation
In 2020, Microsoft Flight Simulator opened up the world for us. In 2024, it’s inviting us to truly live in it. I attended the preview event for MSFS 2020 back in September 2019, and I was blown away by what I saw. After spending hundreds of hours in the game over the past four years, I struggled to imagine how a new version could possibly recapture that initial sense of wonder. But after my first session with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, I’m even more excited for this new release than I was when I first tried the 2020 version five years ago.
Everything that Microsoft Flight Simulator excels at has been refined and enhanced in the 2024 edition. From faster load times and improved weather effects to more realistic aircraft physics – there’s just so much more. Even the ground, which you’re generally not supposed to focus on, has had its realism dialed up significantly. MSFS 2024 has taken the globe-spanning grandeur of its predecessor and made it feel even more like the real world we live in.
